Shirodhara (90 minutes)

The herb infused oils used are specifically selected for their ability to calm the mind and the nervous system, deeply nourishing the Body, Mind and Spirit. Its gentle action works to release stored emotions, improve sleep, restore mental clarity and relieve stress, anxiety and depression…and it may also take you to another place.
A brief relaxation process and gentle face massage using the nourishing Rasasara Skinfoods will ensure that you are fully present to experience the fine stream of warm, oil flowing gently onto your 3rd eye. The treatment finishes with a gently energising head massage that will bring you back to earth. You can then enjoy a relaxing cup of herbal tea with Mary before venturing out into the world.
Shirodhara's provide the greatest benefit when received in the earlier part of the day so aim for a morning appointment. It is also important to cover your head afterwards, particularly during cooler, windy and or rainy weather, so please bring something to wear home - a scarf, beanie or hat.
Clearing your schedule for the remainder of the day is also strongly recommended. A shirodhara has a very profound effect on the mind and the body and after your first one you will understand why Mary suggested not to book anything in for the rest of the day - other than rest that is.
At the completion of your treatment/s you will receive the remaining herb infused oil to take home and use for your self-massage.
